“Journey to the Heart of Kashmir: A Trek to Kel, Mainarda Lake, and Lal Booti Peak”

The morning of the first day of the trek was a mix of excitement and nervousness. We gathered our gear, said goodbye to our loved ones, and set off on our journey towards Karlot village Kel. The drive to the starting point was scenic, with winding roads and lush green mountains all around us.

After a hearty lunch, we started our hike towards Narel. The trek was moderately easy, and we enjoyed the stunning views of the valley and the cool breeze. As we reached our campsite, we were greeted with warm hospitality and delicious food.

The next day, we continued our trek towards Lake Bali Wala Sar. The trail was relatively flat, with occasional steep sections. The lake was a sight to behold, with crystal-clear waters and a serene ambiance. We set up our campsite and enjoyed a peaceful night under the stars.

On the third day, we started our hike towards Narel Water. The trail was challenging, but the sound of the waterfalls and the fresh air kept us motivated. As we reached the spot, we couldn’t help but be in awe of the beauty around us.

The fourth day was dedicated to exploring the Narel Lake and the three sister lakes of Narel. We learned about the religious significance of the place and the folklore surrounding it. We spent the day taking in the majestic views of the mountains and reflecting on the beauty of nature.

On the fifth day, we set out towards our destination, Mainarda Lake. The trail was steep, but the anticipation of seeing the lake kept us going. As we reached the lake, we were blown away by its size and beauty. We spent the day exploring the surrounding area and visiting the four other unnamed lakes.

The sixth day was the highlight of our trek. We attempted to summit Lal Booti Peak, and it was a grueling but exhilarating experience. As we reached the top, we were rewarded with stunning views of the valley and a sense of accomplishment. We spent some time taking pictures and reflecting on the journey before heading back to our campsite at Mainarda Lake.

On the final day of our trek, we woke up early and trekked back towards Kel. The journey was bittersweet as we reminisced about the past few days and the memories we had made. As we reached the end, we were exhausted but fulfilled. We had completed the Kel to Mainarda Lake and Lal Booti Trek, and it was an experience of a lifetime.
