- 8-Day Skardu, Hunza, and Naltar Valley Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Departure: 10:00 pm: Gather at Thokar Niaz Baig near Daewoo Bus Terminal, Lahore. 4:30 am: Pick up participants from Daewoo Terminal, near NUST EME College, Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
Breakfast at Balakot around 8:00 am.
Short Break at Kewai or Paras.
Continue journey towards Naran and visit Lulusar Lake.
Arrival at Babusar, short stay, and continue the journey towards Chilas.
Arrival in Chilas at 9:00 pm, check into the hotel, and have dinner at 9:30 pm.
Day 2: Skardu Valley 9:00 am: Start the journey to Skardu Valley.
Visit Nanga Parbat view Point and the junction of mountain Ranges while traveling via Adventures Skardu Road.
Visit Shangrila Resort and Upper Kachura Lake.
Overnight stay in Skardu Hotel.
Day 3: Shigar Valley
Breakfast – 9:00 am: Travel to Manthokha Waterfall.
Explore the beautiful waterfall and head back to Shigar Valley.
Visit the cold desert and Shigar Fort.
Return to Skardu and stay overnight.
Day 4: Optional Day: 9:00 am: Choose one of the following options:
1. Hiking day – Visit Sadpara Lake, hike to Karpocho Fort (1 hour), then track towards Nonsoq Village (1 hour) and explore Nonsoq organic village. Return to the hotel by night.
2. If you are unable to hike, visit Chunda Valley/Bashu Valley on a jeep.
3. Professional hikers can opt for the Masroor Scared Rock Hike (7 hours).
Day 5: Travel to Hunza 9:00 am: Depart towards Hunza.
Enroute sightseeing at Astaknala, Haramosh Gilgit, Nagar Rakaposhi viewpoint, Altit/Baltit Fort in Hunza, and Kareemabad Bazar.
Stay overnight in Hunza.
Day 6: Visit China Border
Travel towards China border.
Visit Ataabad Lake, Hussaini Bridge/Rainbow Bridge, Passu Cones, Passu Glacier, and have lunch break at Gircha.
Transfer to jeeps and reach China border, explore Khunjrab Pass, and return to Hunza for overnight stay.
Day 7: Naltar Valley
Travel to Naltar Valley.
Explore Naltar Ski Slope, Naltar Zero Point, and try to spot snow leopards.
Return to Chilas for overnight stay.
Day 8: Return Journey 7:00 am: Depart from Chilas towards Islamabad/Lahore.
Short sightseeing on the way and have short breaks.
Reach Islamabad by 9:00 pm and Lahore by 2:00 am.
Tour ends.
