**Trekking Itinerary: Rawalpindi – Nanga Parbat Base Camp**

 

**Day 01: Arrival**

**Day 15: Chilas – Rawalpindi/Islamabad**

– Return to Rawalpindi/Islamabad via road transport.

**Package Inclusions:**

– Government licensed professional guide/leader.

– Airport transfers to/from Benazir International Airport, Islamabad.

– All domestic flights and ground transfers as per itinerary.

– All accommodation in hotels and camps as per itinerary.

– All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at hotels and camps.

– Trekking requirements on the ground, including support staff, porters, and gear (excluding personal items).

– Government trekking permit fees and paperwork.

 

**Package Exclusions:**

– Travel insurance.

– Visa to Pakistan (Letter of Invitation and supporting documents provided).

– International flights (return tickets).

– Tips for guides, porters, and staff.

– Miscellaneous expenses like drinks, telephone calls, laundry, and souvenirs.

 

**Food and Meal Plan:**

– Participants will be served three meals a day during the trek.

– Meals will include a combination of Pakistani and foreign dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.

– Vegetarians can request entirely vegetarian meals in advance.

– Iodine-treated drinking water will be available, and glacial melt water will be used with settling methods for silt.

 

**Accommodation:**

– Stays at standard hotels in Islamabad and the best hotels in Hunza/Skardu.

– Rooms will be provided on a twin-sharing basis with en-suite amenities.

– During camping days, participants will share two-person tents, optionally separate rooms/tents at an additional cost (subject to availability).

 

**A Typical Day:**

– Each trekking day starts with warm tea or coffee followed by breakfast inside the mess tent(s).

– Camps are closed after breakfast, and porters start carrying supplies and luggage ahead to prepare lunch.

– The hike continues for 3-4 hours before lunch, followed by a rest and lunch break.

– Afternoon trekking is generally shorter, and upon reaching the camp, participants can rest and socialize.

– Dinner is freshly prepared in the mess tent.

 

**Baggage Allowance:**

– Porters will carry participants’ baggage/luggage, and the maximum weight limit for packed trekking bags is 12.5 kilograms (20 pounds).

– Mountaineering equipment will be collected separately by porters.

 

**Altitude:**

– The trek is at very high altitudes, and participants should acclimatize as per the well-planned itinerary.

 

**Equipment List:**

 

**List 1 – Must Bring Items:**

– First Aid Pack (including altitude-related and general medications).

– Hiking Backpack (32-42 Litres).

– Appropriate clothing, footwear, and sleeping bag for the trek.

– Sun protection items, headtorch, and water bottles.

– Trekking poles are highly recommended.

– Personal toiletries and other essentials.

 

**List 2 – Mountaineering Equipments:**

– Crampons, Mountaineering boots (compatible with crampons), Ice axe, Climbing harness, Karabiner/Carabiner (screwgate type x 2), Climbing helmet, Prusik loops X two (4 meters of 6 mm cord), Sling (120 cm).

 

**List 3 – Optional:**

– Additional items like Buff or scarf, camera, insect repellent, etc.

 

**Minimum Group Participants and Holiday Status:**

– Minimum six (6) participants required for fixed departures.

– Check the status of the trip on our website: “Available” means registrations are open, “Guaranteed” means the trip will commence on the given dates.

 

**Travel Documents & Visa:**

– Ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months.

– Tourist visa required for trekking; we provide a Letter of Invitation and support for the visa application process.

Our Terms & Conditions are strictly followed and applied. We request you to read and agree with them before booking a trip with us.
1. The members shall not be indulged in any act reflecting moral or character failing during the trip.
2. All members would give extra care for the local environmental care. Garbage (tins. Water bottles, wrappers etc.) shall be suitably disposed without polluting water sources.
3. During the trip, the itineraries may be affected by reasons beyond control of the organizers In such situation, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.
4. On steep ascends/descends in mountainous areas; air conditions of the buses will be operational on on-off basis to avoid the vehicles from overheating.
5. Every possible care will be taken for the safety of members, still each venture can be fraught with endangers of unforeseen natural disasters like avalanches and crevasse falls or any other accidents and sometimes such disasters cannot be ruled out. In any such type of accident during the whole tour, the company, group leader and the tour organizers will not be held responsible in any form.
6. In case of theft, lost or damage to personal belongings during the duration of the trip, organizers will not be held responsible in any case.
7. On adventure trek of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond the control of organizers can result in a change of itinerary. It is, however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the Leader and Guide will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group.
8. The Organizers reserves the right to use event photos for electronic/digital media.
9. Smoking in the transport is strictly prohibited.
10. The Organizers reserves the right to terminate / regret any participant due to indiscipline,
